I continue practicing every day to spin yarn that feels truly satisfying.
Natural Dyeing

I dye yarn using materials found around me — chestnut, koubunagusa, indigo, and more. The joy of unexpected colors, and the disappointment when colors turn out differently — both are part of the process.
Hand-Weaving

Tap, tap… tap, tap… There is a quiet happiness when the weaving goes forward in rhythm — just a little more, one more step.
Tsumami-ito

When tsumami-ito, drawn from waste cocoons, is woven together with the weft, it becomes Tamba Cloth — a traditional craft that originated in Aogaki, Tamba City.
